It's super soft and almost squishy feeling. For a shirt it's as heavy as a jacket. It drapes more like well worn broken in heavy denim than leather. Totally different than the big buck. TJ's description is spot on in the videos.

@pechelman How's the measurements/fit on that one for ya? Was really considering, but the sizing chart scared me a bit when I was comparing UHF sizing to the charts with TJ.

I can take actual measurements later if you need, but I'd say it fits true to his chart. Generally it fits really similar to my large 293, maybe a touch wider. This is a size 44 which fits the same as the other y2 Western I was able to try in Osaka.

Fwiw, I'm usually an XL in uhfs Western and a large in just about everything else IH.

quick note: I'm wearing this at work to help break in, and it is steady producing a disruptive level of squeaks. I'm trying not to laugh.

@Tago-Mago HAHA ya got me! I can discreetly mask any farts with a stretegically timed squeak.

@Mister_Brue it might be a moment before I wear it under something indigo but I see wearing it normally as I would any other jacket. I'm kinda interested to see how this leather might age or patina if it's anything like other pale leathers.

As for if I like it better, not really, it's just very different. This leather is so much thicker they can't sew on the front or rear seams which give a bit of character. This leather probably feels less water resistant as well compared to the oiled steer or horsehide options from the shop. I do like that this version has an internal chest pocket.

Had this shirt been available in camel when I visited, it probably would have come back with me then.

                                  Hello,
does the leather jacket Y’2 come with a protective cover or garment bag and matching coat hangers?
                                  Thanks!

Hanger looks good, but it’s not wide enough at the end for heavyweight leather for my taste.

The hangers seem pretty nice to me. Note they do have different width hangers based on the item. The one for my wife's jacket is thinner than mine shown below.
