All right, 50 days today! Tried to find some descent lighting. I’m pleased with how fast these fades presented themselves and looking forward to keep going when the weather permits. Will probably mix in some 21oz and 17oz now for summer.

I really looking forward to washing these. Do you guys think that’s to early? (With to early I mean if the creases need more time to really cement themselves to avoid fade-shift).

They don’t smell but are pretty sticky now, I believe it’s salt from sweat mixed with dirt. Appreciate all who want to chime in.

@Sunnergren, personally, I can't go longer than 30 days between washes.

I wear mine to work (which is labor/dirt intensive), and I can't deal with the sweatiness/grime you're describing. My job is also public facing, so I have to be presentable at all times.

If someone has a simple office job, I'm sure they can go far longer.

Do what feels right to you, but if they feel gross.....they are gross.

@Sunnergren my best advice is to not stress too hard about achieving a certain look. Try to let your lifestyle dictate the fades. The UHR is a treat, just try to enjoy the journey.
I think I pushed my pair 4 months with the first wash then monthly after that.

Thanks guys! Will probably push a few more days until first wash, can’t wait!

How does the UHR denim feel compared to XHS? Is the UHR tough to wear? I have a 19oz left hand twill type iii jacket. I love it. Great denim as a jacket! Not sure if I would want the 19oz as jeans though...i think.

@jpvisual in my opinion the UHR is softer and cause its smaller in Oz it feels more pliable. I feel its a combination of tough, soft at times, hairy but nice. I definitely love it. The 25oz is a beast initially, tough and intimidating if you havent tried it before. But once you get over the initial hump, you get used to it. Im still breaking that in though....its still early days. Im currently working on both 😓 but am using the UHR as my daily and its been awesome....

UHR remains slightly crispy over the long term, whilst 25oz will feel like sweatpants at some point.

@cyclops thanks for the info. @goosehd stays crispy similar to the 19oz lefty fabric? I find that keeps it's crispy rigidity. Totally love that tough denim as a jacket. Jeans, not sure and never tried.

@jpvisual not exactly like the 19L but close. The 19L are unique in that aspect. The UHR softens, but never will be as soft as the 25’s.
