IH-555S-UHR - 21/23oz Ultra Heavy Raw Selvedge Denim Super Slim Cut Jeans
-
@Mizmazzle I think your suggestion of 888 might be the right move for me. I'm also headlong into a training block for cyclocross season, so my thighs aren't getting any slimmer anytime soon haha.
-
@indigo_nico 888 is an incredible cut. They are super comfy. You will never have to worry about plumbers ass, and they keep a slim leg profile due to the taper. The key it to size the waist as small as possible so that you keep a slim leg profile...then that added thigh width gives the leg some room to breath...
Funnily enough, I have 3-4 pairs of 888s....I have one pair of 555's....I want my UHRs to be 555 because I have pretty skinny legs...I kind of think the 888 and 555 will give a similar silhouette depending on the body type of the person wearing them...since you have thicker thighs you can get the similar look in the 888 (if sized properly) that I would in the 555. Just a little theory of mine...

Just scored a pair of these today. I have no experience with raw denim but Ross and Josh were super helpful walking me through sizing and stuff. I’ve also never worn the 555 cut, coming over from 666. Got em hemmed cause as Ross said, gotta soak and wash em anyway and at that point returns are no go. Stoked to see how they are

Just got a pair of these and I literally can't button them up even when I try without them on. Does anyone have any ideas. I have two pairs of xhs selvedge and two jackets and a and have never had this issue.

Every time I buy something 20oz+ I have the "oh shit realisation" just before they arrive that I need to button them... Goose gave some good tips, I use a sharpie and a pair of pliers
