Ended up picking one from VMC. Feels great the shirt. I would love to have the medium snaps but afraid I will fuck it up.

Really glad I caved and got one of these. What a great shirt. Probably 6 weeks or so before I can comfortably wear it outside.

I have just 9 or 10 wears with mine so far. It has been very hot where I live. But I am seeing baby fades. It's the ultimate black western IMO.

And yes @Jett129 in the case I pull the trigger I am aware of the fact that this shirt is not made for hot summer dyas… We have to wait another 6 weeks. Strange that we are awaiting autumn to wear heavy IH stuff :-o

Yah I've stubs for arms. Takes a minute to get used to but I stop noticing after awhile. I will say that I typically spray-soak the arms of a new shirt or jacket to set in stacks, which I've done at this point and its shortened them up to a comfortable level.

I do that on my left cuff for my watch since it is bulky and IH has thin cuffs for riding. On westerns I’ll button the first of the two snaps going down the sleeve and just fold the rest of the cuff back and it stays neatly in place on every single IH western I have in any weight. In some cases I’ll button it back if there’s no snap.

                              Think it, be it.

@mclaincausey Thank you so much for explaining how to do that,I wouldn’t have thought of it/figured it out in a million years. It’s just the little bit that I needed on so many of my shirts, and it looks cool to boot. Brilliant!

I have to agree with @Dmart : great evolution @Oaktavia

I decided to wait for the restock of the Johnny Cash. While I prefer a fade to grey regarding my jeans, I am looking for a black shirt that (almost) stays black.

How is your shirt looking @dmart?

I just soaked my shirt with the hose out back and threw it in the machine washer. It was getting a little too much patina, which I didnt know was a thing. It really shows with the darkness if the denim, has a glossy sheen to it. In fact, everything shows. It's nice as hell in regards to how inky black it is, but an ungodly amount of dog hair sticks to it. Really stands out as my puppies have light hair. It takes no time at all to get absolutely covered in golden fur. Hoping this wash will lighten up the black a tad so it doesn't show as much. I remember my XHSbb showed fur much less noticeably after a few washes in the machine combined with daily wear.
