Kind of hard to tell, the pics are a little dark on my phone. Did you got TTS or size down? From what I can see they look good but the thigh does look snug.

I’m a 30 W in other pants. I ended up going with a 29 W because the actual waist size is about 29.8 inches and I didn’t want them being too loose in the waist after breaking in. The 30 W has an actual waist measurement of 31.1 so I didn’t want to jump up 1.3 inches in the waist going from 29-30. After wearing them all afternoon they’ve started breaking in a bit and are easier to button and a little looser in the waist, haven’t noticed a significant difference in the thigh yet. The taper is perfect from the knee down for me, and the waist is perfect as well

Agreed that it's hard to tell with that lighting. Depends on how tight you like your jeans, too.  My are-the-knees-too-tight test involves riding a bike.  If you can ride a bike in them, they're not too tight.

I will have to try that bike test tomorrow. I can squat comfortably in them and have full range of motion. I only wore them for a few hours after pics were taken, but they seem a bit more relaxed. I will try to upload more in better lighting

@Rockett if you can squat in them without significant discomfort you’re probably fine, it’s just a matter of whether you’re happy with how they look…

Got this IHM-12 or 13 from eBay today and the more I look at it the more I’m 🤔 about it. What do you guys think?

It’s in my usual shirt size, a medium. It’s pretty fitted with just a tee. The pits are snug as is the case with many IH jackets…

Here it is over a lightweight TW denim western. It’s pretty tight and the sleeves are not very comfortable. I just don’t know if I’d wear it over just a T. For me jackets are for lonhsleeve shirt weather, not T weather…

@Matt if you feel the jacket is too tight with a shirt then you probably won’t be happy with it. If, however, you do decide you like to wear it with just a t underneath then I think it looks pretty good.

Overall the fit is good with the shoulders, sleeves, and body on point. Material wise, I would like the nylon version (flight jacket-esque) more.

Tough call as they don’t pop up too often and may be one of those long waits. Have you looked at flight jackets at selfedge? Might give you what you’re looking for.

For the price and the rarity I’d say making this one work is probably the smart bet for me. If there’s no interest this week I’ll take it as a sign. Thanks guys. ✌️

I think it looks good, @Matt. May have done with a size up. I felt the same way when my small came in, but I’ve gotten along with it just fine, even with a layer underneath. The satin is superior, though 😏

Where in the arms is it tight/uncomfortable? It looks good even layered. Can you zip it over the long sleeves?

But your impression matters most, and with descriptors as you used, I'd say your first instinct to sell it is probably the right one.

There’s a large IHM-12 on eBay in a large but it has a small Harley patch sewn on the chest and it’s about $100 more expensive. I’ll wait it out this week and see how I feel. Thanks everyone for the feedback. 🙏

it looks snug in the front in the lower torso but then looks just right from the back.
shoulders and sleeves are also good, leather will mold to you a bit, but it's really on how it feels and how you're going to wear it.

it looks rad to me but maybe on the snug side. Do the buttons pop open when you breathe, stretch, move, etc?

Looks amazing, but doesn't look comfortable at all. As said above, seems extremely tight around the middle!

I tend to air on the side of form over function, as I like a slimmer fit, but think I'd wanna size up on something as substantial as this.

Maybe spend the day around the house in it? If natural movement/contortions cause the snaps to pop, then it's probably too small.

@T4920 It doesn't feel overly tight. From the photos do you think it appears to small for me? The buttons don't pop open when I move around. Its a steer hide, feels very light so im wondering if that will translate to it stretching🤔aaaah, its a tough decision. Thank you mate 🙏

@jiminstitches shit. The shoulders and sleeves look great but it seems like the design could have had more material in the front panels, and a bit less in the back. I have a similar much less noticeable issue with a winter coat of mine. It's tight-ish across the belly but has a ton of room in the back.

It looks decent on you, but you don't much variability to layer with it if desired

I also find that things i buy too small, I never tend to wear. My vote is it looks too tight but only you know best with it on.
