Thank you @Filthy .  I actually thought I had dodged this particular bullet.  Paula has had it twice, and I made a concerted effort not to change how we lived when she was positive, and I did not get it.  I was beginning to think I just could not get it.

2 days I was clean, 2 days I have bad symptoms, but I did not put 2 and 2 together until I could not taste a Temple Dhal last night

.      When I had it,because,of my age they,immediately,put me on Paxlovid,which gets into your salivary glands and puts a really fucked up taste in your mouth. I prayed to loose my sense of taste. I guess be careful what you wish for.
