Thanks @Matt Keen Uneek. The tagline on them is 'two cords and a sole'. Saw them for the first time several years ago at Garbstore in London and got a pair last spring. They're lightweight but the fit is secure and the sole is sturdy. I like how the shape and construction almost resembles a moccasin. These are a minimal colourway compared to some of the other options out there. I'll likely get another pair when these wear out.

It is one of my beer snob carveouts. I'll even make the occasional Aperol spritz with it (the "Bubba Spritz," which I thought I invented but then later saw on a couple of menus).

Thanks @Oaktavia and yes it’s a “rain defender” that failed miserably when we were at the outdoor rodeo during a monsoon last year. It works well for fishing in a light rain, or todays intended purpose where I took my wife Ziplining at Kerfoot in Henderson, MN during a misty day.
