I wish IH would rerelease 888S-21oz ib but it seems will never happen. For some reason their best releases are all in the extinct items list. But that's their business, they know better how to run it. I hope they won't finally go for outsourcing their products somewhere in China like many other now former cool brands (Samurai, SDA etc.)

1. The IH-888S-21 are a constant item, so WILL get rerun

2. If you actually think we would outsource to another country, you don't know us very well

Tell you what - never say never. Once there was used cotton from Zimbabwe, now it is from Texas... Money talks my friend, money talks. I am old enough to learn it's true. Hope nobody's feelings were hurt again.

Can not tell you for 100% sure abt Samurai jeans (though Nogami-san already hurt his fans feelings making his jeans totally facelees by removing tabs and arcuates), but SDA doesn't make secret of it. Check it out online for yourself.

@Yoprst I believe the use of cotton from Texas is because is was totally indistinguishable from Zimbabwe cotton, if not better and Zimbabwe cotton was giving a green cast to the denim and it’s been said Haraki does not like green cast denim. Nor do I, always been a redcast guy, so I’m loving the decision!

@Mizmazzle I looked SDA's Made in china products up and it seems it's limited to some graphic tees, embroidered jackets and hoodies... I think their selvedge denim products are still MIJ. Can't recommend them enough. Really like SDA.
