Feels great, a little bit of a bear to get on with a T-shirt. Arms were sticking, but I just got back from the gym. The leather itself is like no other leather westerns that I currently have(y’2, Indigofera) it has a little bit more rigidity to it but super comfortable and you can tell it’s going to just get better and better with age.

I will probably just be able to wear either a thermal, T-shirt or possibly lighter weight IH shirt underneath. It’s a four XL but it’s pretty fitted to my shoulders and armpits.

@northsouthdenimguy how's the cut through the arms? Looks like you have room in the bicep but forearm may be a bit fitting as are most iron heart shirts?

The arms feel great, for reference I have 17 inch biceps or so… it’s by no means tight overall, but it is pretty fitted for me, chest shoulders, and through the armpit area. definitely not in a bad way this is how I prefer leather shirts to fit. I typically will just wear something relatively thin underneath. I’m not a big layerererrrrr….

The hand of the old style shirt is much different than the upcoming Blattwerk. This is my #1 randomly complimented piece in my wardrobe. Just be ready, when you wear it, strangers will approach...

@Crispy-Heron The old one appears more structured, with a slight sueding to it. It is totally raw and unfininished. The new one is softer out of the box, with what appears to be a top coat, sealing its finish a bit more.

I have had two mishaps with the old one - black sharpie and slime - both of which were expertly removed by Rago Bros in NJ, refinishing the whole jacket. I'm not sure the new one offers that serviceability.
