@Crispy-Heron The old one appears more structured, with a slight sueding to it. It is totally raw and unfininished. The new one is softer out of the box, with what appears to be a top coat, sealing its finish a bit more.

I have had two mishaps with the old one - black sharpie and slime - both of which were expertly removed by Rago Bros in NJ, refinishing the whole jacket. I'm not sure the new one offers that serviceability.

@Crispy-Heron if it's your size I'd highly recommend getting one. I had one of the last XXL but did not keep it because I felt insecure at the moment. Now I regret it very much, because I feel like the new one will be very cool but not as badass and raw like the first version

@Crispy-Heron The fit is its own universe - it doesn't break in quickly, or even at all, so make sure it's not tight anywhere.

@indigostiff - received today. I now know what you (and others) were talking about. This thing is a beauty and a beast in equal measure. In an ideal world I would have gotten the small but the extra small works (better not put weight on) and is comfy with t shirt underneath.

@Crispy-Heron great! i would keep it "as is", not putting any cream on it, which will darken it and take away from its suede appearance. also, wear it as much as you can, and hopefully you're not getting the shoulder-creep, where it rides up high around your neckline.

it's a lifetime piece.
