I'm working in Florida now so I took the slubbies on my trip. I took this yesterday and forgot to post it.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these, but I will enjoy watching them evo on others here. For now I'm going to "cellar" them since I have work to do on some seasoned 666S-18, still-almost-new Strike Gold 3105s, and (as of today) brand-new 777N. These are taking priority mainly because I think the fits work better. My active denim collection is the least focused it has ever been

I have the same problem but I am going to wear only these and my double front this year I think. I want to beat the shit out of the 822 so I'll keep wearing these and the slubby ones will be the back up pair in my suitcase. Because they are so rare I will wear them when I am flying in case my luggage goes missing.

These have ended up being one of the 888 variants that come out fairly slim fit on me in the thighs if I get a waist that fits. I ain’t mad, nice to have something trimmer to put on now and then, and didn’t want to miss out on this pair with all the excellent details, just probably won’t be the heaviest worn pair out there (I’m just holding out for the UHR anyway for my next indigo project )

@Fadez thanks man, they’re not terrible, just not optimal compared to other pairs. I love them all the same and will wear them, just one of those where some pairs fit you better than others

The waist on my pair stretched pretty quickly and they weren’t very tight to begin with. This is how my Sugarcane Okinawas are as well, I’m guessing it is due to the low tension of the slubby stuff. Enjoy them, I cant wait to see some real evo of these.

Oh yeah. Should be very easy. I got 2” of stretch in the sample pair. But I realize they didn’t have the patch sewn in either. I only need ~1.3” so I think I’ll be just fine. They get better and better with each wear. Looking forward to doing the proper hiking thrashing that I fell short of last year. Hopefully no major health issues get in the way this time. [emoji1695]

I’ve been wearing my pair pretty consistently but have had very slow fading. I took them out in the snow yesterday, got them pretty soaked through, and bam, colors start popping! It’s still pretty subtle in the pics but it’s coming along now. They also got nice and crispy again which I like in this type of denim. It is definitely of my favorite IH fabrics yet.

I love the dusty blue this pair is showing. They had their first wash this past week and surprised me with how stiff and snug they became. After about an hour, they gave up and are back to their slubby pajama phase. I friggin love this jean.
