Quick fits on arrival. It’s almost 90 out, so skipping the outdoor ones. A special thank you to AdamJ AdamC Chesson and anyone else who had a hand in getting these to me. I truly appreciate the extra effort and measurements. I did get a little particular, but it totally paid off. This is the perfect fit. I couldn’t be happier!!!

They look pretty great. How does the waist measurement compare to what you would normally look for in your favorite cut?

I can’t seem to post any pictures but mine arrive today and love them!  Fit is pretty similar to the whipcord ones although the waist measurements on paper are totally different for the waist which I can’t figure out.

Can’t wait to break them in. Way too long even cuffed. are you guys getting yours hemmed?

Jett129 Hey Jett. So for this pair, I went very TTS. I usually get a size 34 but the waist is generally around 35”. This was 35” on the dot which fits very comfortably. I originally had the size 35 in my cart, but they both measured 36”. Luckily AJ was able to find the perfect fit. My other pairs 777S-21 and 633S both initially were 34.5” and my 634XHSod were size 35”. What I like of this cut is the taper from the knee down and also the wider thigh. Going forward. I’m keeping minimum of 13” thigh for me. So I think the 888 cut will be my jam from here on out, but you never know.

Lawfor I had mine hemmed to 33” inseam. I almost kicked myself for it when I saw that double cuff picture above, that looks amazing for this pair, but I am super happy with the length, break, and feel of the hemming. Are you planning on double cuffing?

I’m not really sure. I hemmed my whipcord cargos long enough that I can turn them up about a half inch or so but not sure what I want to on these.

@Fadez It wouldn’t be the first time that seeing how good you looked in something cost me money. Can’t stop looking at these. Last pair of cargo jeans I had were Levis,in the 70s,and I loved them,so there’s definitely a nostalgia vibe working on me. The rise, both front and back is what’s holding me back. Significantly higher than 555s. Might need to email the boys in Gosport.

Jett129 Haha, what an honor! These just scratched such an itch for me that I had to get them. The slash pockets, cargo, and the 14oz just put it over the top. I was planning on getting the 888SST, but I have 2 other pairs of 21oz and these are just fantastic. After I’m done with my slubby hiking, I think these will take over for them. I think the evo and wear on the cargo pockets will be a new and welcome change to the regular kind of fading on the 5 pocket style. I’m really looking forward to giving these a beating

Lawfor I’m sure whatever you decide will be awesome. Give it some wear and time and I think the denim will tell you what looks best.

@fadez. Thanks man. I can’t wait to wear them.  Super nice and not too thick for this hot south Florida weather. Really happy I got them.

The recent cargo pant collaborations with Division Road are just outstanding. The olive drab were the ultimate cargoes for me. Until these! Between those and now these dropping out of nowhere, without warning, IH is so full of the kind of surprises I live for.

Just bought a pair these and hoping the smallest size 36 they have works for me.

As said in an earlier post, I'm also going try and substitute my black work cargos for a while to get these worn in.

These arrived today and are lovely cargos but the sizing in a 36 doesn't work on me. I think I'll bite the bullit and get a size 35 from Division Road and hopefully the smaller rise will fit better in the top area.

Back rise looks fine. I’m afraid the front rise won’t go down enough in one size down. This is my beef with my whipcord cargoes, too. Good luck!

I think you're right @sabergirl. Maybe rise isn't what I need to lose at the front, its a tighter top block I'm looking for. I might try and squeeze into a 34 and hopefully I can get the waist to stretch out an inch.
