@dugafola Yeah sorry my question wasn’t about measurements per se but more how people use their CPOs. Like a regular shirt or more like an overshirt to wear over another long sleeve layer?

@natefreezy I have just been wearing them over a t shirt, I get way too warm to later it, I wear cpo like a shirt with pockets haha. I wouldn't later over a cpo like I would with say a UHF though as they are a bit longer

@natefreezy I mostly wear mine over a t shirt. But I like to have enough room to wear a thermal too. The nice thing about the CPO cut is generally, if you take your normal tag size, they are cut slightly bigger to accommodate the over shirt style.

~90% of the time it's over just a t-shirt. I'm about 50/50 on buttoned vs open.
The remaining 10% i wear it over a waffle knit thermal where the same 50/50 applies of unbuttoned vs open.

Sounds good! Yeah was also thinking I’d mostly wear over t-shirt but being able to wear over long sleeve t is good. To be fair, I also mostly prefer to wear my denim jackets over a t shirt.

@CosmoSix5 I purchased my first piece of iron heart from self edge, it’s the 33T, absolutely love it, fits me very well. On the few pieces I have looked at their length seems to be 1.5-2 inches less than most stockists on average I have found. I think their lack of free shipping >$500 will also be a sticking point for me going forward living in Australia.

@landownunder if I appeared to be advocating for them I'm apologize. I only shop there when absolutely necessary. I agree with their sizing being "off". You'll notice I didn't tell people to go there and check the measurements table

Can anyone with a broken in 409 compare that denim to the 293? I’m mostly curious about the drape and softness…not the way the two fade.

In my opinion the 293 is wayyyy softer. I love both and have worn both extensively, but in my opinion they're almost complete opposites in terms of softness and drape.

@talexander thanks dude. I appreciate that. So the 293 drapes heavy and easy compared to the 409?

I wouldn't say it drapes heavier, but I feel the fabric isn't anywhere near as stiff as the 409, so it just hangs on the body better. I can actually hear the fabric of the 409 when I bend my arms. I don't own a lefty, but of all the IH gear I have, the 409 is the crunchiest for lack of a better description.

@Mizmazzle yeah it’s both softer and drapes better from the start compared to the 409 (even after a year). And indeed @talexander nowhere near as stiff as the 409 in the beginning
