I’m at Reisensburg Castle in southern Germany for a training course. It’s incredibly hot (35°C), but it’s actually quite nice here.

The place belongs to the University of Ulm and is used for conferences etc. We are holding a course here on neuroscientific assessment.

We’ll be checking out all the tall ships that are in town along with the air show tomorrow. More practice runs from both the Blue Angels and whatever the UK version is today. I should be hearing them soon. It’s all for the 250 US bday.

I turned 40 today

Edited to add - finished some nightmare work projects so happy with that.

& Parents treated me to the only staple that I’ll actually eat -Japanese rice. Can’t stand calrose rice or mushy rice which is common in majority of the local plates and takeouts/restaurants.

Stoked bc a 15lb bag can be up to $60-70ish depending which prefecture & I’m usually the one to keep the rice stocked.
