Wandering around Bembridge on the Isle of Wight

This was a church until 1703 when the locals got bored of it being a church, and knocked the nave down.

And painted the seaward facing wall white, it is now a navigational aid to get into Bembridge harbour. I do like a bit of upcycling........

Back at it and amateur hour update. Oversight on the first stair case in that I did not take into account the additional 2x4 needed to make flush with the preexisting stone step and now need to take apart and recess the post to account for the additional board.
