Today I will be sitting in front of the TV watching the total annihilation of Australia in the 2nd game of the Ashes, whilst doing that and glowing in the warm fuzzy feeling that a Brit is going to win the Tour de France for a second year running, I will be pickling Walnuts….. The only pisser is that Alex is at Lords today and did not invite me.....

so yesterday (sunday) was way too hot to not spend the day near something that at least looks like it could cool me down...
so i went to the local river (Aare, 10min. with the (peugeot) bike
) and enjoyed the day:
was in good company
went for a swim

everything a man needs (minus one or two females) ^^
and today it was back to work…enjoying my lunch break:

Yeah Finn they were the bomb if I do say so myself. Galangal, garlic, lemongrass, salt, pepper, soy, chili oil, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, sesame seeds, onion flakes, a touch of fish oil, and a healthy dose of Sriracha. I devised this last weekend and refined it a little this time. Chicken was a teriyaki vibe. I should have taken a shot of them when they came out, they were pretty. But we were too busy shoveling them and the organic Asian salad from my CSA down our gullets…

I was seriously impressed by the Union Special - loved the electrical humming sound it made when switched on, the squeak before it started stitching and most of all the sound when it stitched. Music to my ears.
