For the past 24 hours the hills the other side of the bay have been burning. Upon enquiry, we were told that the locals can't be bothered to herd the cattle down to the barns in the village, so periodically they set light to the hills to force the cattle down. As Ryan, an American friend said, "I've never heard of anything quite so fucking lazy, they set a whole fucking mountain on fire because the can't be bothered to go get them, why don't they just get a fucking Collie".
Answers not needed, rhetorical question, but I did laugh a lot.....

In Europe we go the other way around. Herding might be Europe’s oldest fix for extreme wildfires.

Finally home from quite a different business trip, which included some enjoyable outings.
First time in Vegas and second time in LA. For a simple Swede as myself these are insane locations.
Infinite slot machines, the construction of a guitar hotel(?), my new shorts (634 14oz)
, night time lighting, NHL hockey with unbelievable seats (and Swedes on the ice!), driving 5 hours through the Mojave desert and a French drink before going home.
