Showing/Leasing very overpriced apartments in beautiful San Francisco. The Rental market is insane again . I’ve lived here 18yrs and this is really the worst it’s been. Read a median one bedroom is $4,400. Very glad got my apt over 3.5yrs ago tail end of Covid pricing

Is the market aimed at transitory workers that don’t plan on staying more than a year or two? Or is the housing market so expensive to own, that renting is the only valid option?
