634 vs 1955

Can anyone give me the plain English answer to the difference between these cuts? I love the 634s but would be willing to try a higher rise and narrower leg opening.

That’s the difference. Maybe add a little fuller through the knee on the 1955. Not much more to add.

@sabergirl So 888 or 1955?

@CuseMM. If you want the taper to start above the knee and you are ok with a smaller mid thigh to knee measurement 888. If you want the taper to start below the knee then 1955

Yanni’s is on the right track. But really, you should measure a pair of jeans you love, and try to find the measurement chart for one of IH’s cuts that matches that of comes closest.

I’ve been wearing 634s for probably 7-10 years but always had a few nits about them

@Alex When will IH launch a bootcut jeans with slim upper box (maybe a 777 or 666) and bootcut leg ? Best in 21oz . That would so CRAZY COOL !!!!!!!

@patty69ih boot cuts are probably off the list due to slow sales previously. Don’t want you to get your hopes up

@patty69ih also, IH recently introduced the 684 as a new cut, so chances are not great for another cut in the near future.
