@jfk1117 do you have a history with the SDA work shirt cut?

With mine, it’s quite a bit roomier in the midsection with a more generous opening than my IH work shirts. It took a bit of getting used to, but I really like it overall.

@jordanscollected yes have a few. I find I can go one of two routes. A 42 which fits more standard in areas off the rack but be more “cropped” in length, which I don’t mind with some heavier fabrics or the 44 which is roomier but more length appropriate etc. I have also found with the 44 that if I wash and do a brief dryer finish when mostly dry from air, I can get the shrink I need. Then it’ll never see the dryer again.

i did the same thing with my kakishibu work shirt. hot wash and hot dry shortened the length and sleeves and brought in the chest every so slightly.

@dugafola Anyone tried this with the Kakishibu Sashiko jacket? Unsure about how shrink might affect the sashiko stitching, but I wouldn't mind with bringing it up and in just a bit.

@indigo_fades the one shashiko shirt I have from SDA I have only washed in cold water and low spin. I’d be weary to toss it in the dryer or put high spin on. Mine even with wear has shown fraying at some of the stabs. I’d imagine those actions would fray it more. However possible since it’s newer that it could hold up a little better. Not sure that helps or not.

@CosmoSix5 I ended up grabbing this shirt in Osaka back in February. Such incredible texture and inconsistency in how the fabric takes the dye. It's nice to have a piece that is already quite evolved and not have to focus on fading! SDA is a great brand and were my gateway into this world.

Curious how you like them and the fit compared to 634 or similar.

Kakishibu work shirt today. Anyone pick up the mud dyed Sashiko jeans? I cheaped out due to the price and fit/cut. Beautiful though...
