IHJ-09 - Cotton Serge Windbreaker

Talking about necroposting @tody. I just found this beauty in the bay.
Washed it with conditioner, put some Greenland wax on it (guess where I missed to iron afterwards). Will put another layer on anyway.
Great jacket. I thinking of getting it lined. Kind of polyesther quilt sleeves and a wool blanket lined body.

@endo Also a great catch! Wondered what jacket that was since you posted the photo earlier! Thought it wasn't an IH piece due to the oddly placed chest pocket, but now I know better...

She certainly is. It took me a bit of time to work out what the fuck was going on as we have never used that lining

@endo curious if you're still happy with your waxed version after a few years? You have me thinking about waxing mine. I think mine would look better if it was darker.

@Pointman Yes, I still am. I used quite a lot of wax back then, which is why it was very stiff at first. Over time, however, it became nice and soft. It hasn't really become any darker because of that, however.

i know this is long dead, but same thing i thought the first time I saw this jacket: would love a re-run or a new fabric variant on this pattern.
