I just received my “Golden Letter!” My official notification that my student loans have been processed and forgiven for my years of public service as a teacher. Holy Shit!!! I’ll be candid so as to fully communicate this feeling of insane gratitude and relief I’m feeling….$114,267 in undergrad and graduate school loans just lifted off my shoulders. I feel like my heart might explode right now!!!!!!

Thanks all! It’s been a WILD ride with all the politics that have impacted student loan repayment programs over the last decade or so. I feel beyond lucky to be out before things get even more screwed up.
