These are all great ideas. I do have one decent option to incorporate IH. @mclaincausey recently passed on a pair of Wabash pants cut off into shorts. I bet those would pass for golf shorts.

Pair it with my Wabash mechanic work shirt and a golf hat. I may have found my path.

Though @Giles ”I would not attend” led my choices for most of yesterday.

There are some bold folks at work who lack basic knowledge of human decency or common courtesy. When the hallways are 10 feet wide, foot traffic generally defaults to road rules, but for some reason i run into the same problem both in the halls and on the roads. I'd argue that the worst thing you can do, the ultimate offense, is to go into oncoming traffic. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Why then do i constantly have to dodge people crossing lines? This is less severe but even more common in the hallways. Today I had oncoming traffic that was 5-wide, shoulder to shoulder, with an individual attempting an overtake, hugging the wall, on a collision course. This guy looked straight at me, head on like he had the right of way, while leaving me zero space, and pinballed himself between me and the wall. I wasn't feeling very confrontational as I'm in a good mood today, so I settled for a dose of self-served embarrassment and a rather irritated pardon. What would you risk to save a few seconds?

@WhiskeySandwich I can relate, although the corridors at work are not wide enough for this. I’ll resist the urge to let rip on all my gripes about pedestrians in public spaces, but I hate it when groups of individuals and couples change course to create a solid barrier across the full width of the street and force anyone coming the other way to do an emergency 90° turn so they can get round the end of the approaching phalanx. That and people who insist on going round shops in groups of 6-8 plus.

The amount of stuff we traveled with on this trip damn near broke me mentally and physically…

Edit: This was also the trip where on the arrival back home at customs, with all of the bags, stroller, and car seat hanging off of me, my wife said to the customs agent, don’t mind him…he’s just the mule.
