IHSB-TGN-NAT - Iron Heart x Simmons Bilt Mustang Horsehide Tail Gunner - Natural
-
I picked one up at the beginning of the year, back when a final piece (from the previous run) was still available in my size through a U.S. stockist. I could not be happier with it. The construction quality is outstanding, and the leather is absolutely badass.
This is easily my favorite leather for anything—boots, jackets, upholstery, you name it. Even at this price, I still feel like I got a steal. I had been meaning to share my praise sooner, but after I bought it, I couldn’t find the item page again.

@Ross will do! Picked this up early this year and have only worn it a handful of times thanks to the Texas climate, but the color development is already next-level. I’ll pull it out for some photos and get them posted

Here’s a few pics with 8-10 wears. The last pic is a sleeve shot to show the color contrast next to an indigo denim shirt, IH 21oz type III, and seal brown Shinki Horsehide. -

@concretor great post and thank you

@concretor love that this has a bi swing back. I sort of wish my bareback had that feature. Bet it helps tons with mobility.
-
I love the look of the jacket without, but damn it does help a lot. My RMC Nelson jacket is my fave I own in terms of looks, but it's the worst by far in terms of mobility, even though it fits perfectly everywhere else. Frankly even the shoulders look perfect, until I move my arms. This one's very tempting!

@Mizmazzle Bi-swing helps a lot. I can't think of any activities where mobility has been an issue, I've even played baseball with my kids in it.
I stuck to my regular IH size on this one (XXXL), and have room to layer with a technical hoody (Arcteryx Atom). -
Amazingggggg

Was wondering if you guys could help me. Trying to determine if I should go down a size. I first tried a L but it felt a little snug. But with Trying the XL ( which are the pictures) I am wondering if the L is the better fit and that eventually the leather will soften and not feel snug. I own the rider and the Blattwerk Work Jacket in XL. And the Blattwerk Work Jacket and tailgunner are practically the same size please help
