@warriors22 i....was about to pull the trigger on these over at denimio, but didnt want to start another 25oz just yet. Keen to get your thoughts though, i wonder what the fit is like....

I was definitely curious too but the cut looks a little slim for me. Gonna patiently wait for a 634-XHSib restock before taking the 25oz journey

For those thinking about the 25oz, I bought a pair in Japan (just got back the U.S.). They are super nice - definitely heavy, but more compliant and less stiff than XHS right out of the gate. The denim has a touch of slub to it and the gold Selvedge ID / buttons are badass. Super blingy, but most people will never know.

@KongPrecision Glad I pulled the trigger on these!! I’m on vacation now and can’t wait to get back home to these. Did you get them raw or one wash?

@warriors22 I don't believe these are raw. I'm not 100% sure if they are washed or sanforized or both (I dont speak Japanese so there was a bit of a language barrier), but the guy conveyed to me that they shouldn't shrink much.

@KongPrecision damn that does look good. Its a straight fit yeah? Hows the fit? I've not had samurai so thanks for the good feedback. I see there is a size 34 left with 33" on denimio. So...tempted. but im waiting on 21oz in the 888s....and i have XHS. It would be crazy to get this right??

@popvulture I have two of tees in white/natural, one henley in natural, and i just bought another tee in the dark kuri/brown. I initially wanted the black/kuromame but in person it was more like charcoal dark grey and not black enough for my taste. The dark kuri has an insane depth of colour. No fading on that one yet as I'm only a few wears in.
I have had the natural's for about 6months now and there has been no change. They quickly became my favourite tee's. The texture and drape is unreal and the fit is perfect for me. I haven't touched my wonderlooper or bronson tees since buying these and have no desire to wear any other t-shirt tbh.

@KongPrecision thanks for the info! Reason I’m ask is because where I got them they had 2 options raw or one wash and I had purchased the raw pair. Is the fit more like a 634 or a slim straight 666?

@cyclops @warriors22 In terms of fit, these are definitely closest to a 634 cut (which is my go-to IH cut). It's advertised as a "regular straight" and it feels true to that. My pair is definitely roomier in the top block than 666.
In case it's helpful, my IH sizing is 50/50 between 32 and 33 (depending on luck of the measurements). I tried both sizes with the Samurai and went with 33 - the 32 was technically possible to get into but it was crazy tight on my waist and I'm not that aggressive with my fits haha.
