IHSH-466-IND - 13oz Double Faced Cotton Work Shirt - Indigo

This is our classic work shirt, made from 13oz double-faced cotton cloth. Double-faced fabrics like this are woven using a single warp yarn and two sets of wefts, allowing for two distinct weaves on either face. This particular fabric originally featured on the IHSH-221 work shirt, displaying its plain weave on the face and a twill weave on the reverse. However, as there is no “correct” outer face, for this model we’ve reversed the fabric, with the smooth twill on the outside and the more textured plain weave forming the shirt’s interior.

Indigo-dyed for high-contrast fading, this model bears all the hallmarks of our work shirt cut — featuring open-top chest pockets with a pen holder, contrasting four-hole buttons, and side seam gussets with red chainstitch runoff for a pop of colour amid the indigo.

the 221 has some interesting fades, i totally was not aware of that shirt.

Sorry, I was actually being serious about the fit. With a 20-inch shoulder, it sits a little higher on my shoulders, which is exactly how I like a work shirt to fit. That also makes the sleeve length just about perfect, so I may not even have to cuff them.

And yes, I was definitely being sarcastic about not having enough indigo in the closet.

Most of my shirts are close to 20" shoulders. How would a 18.7" shoulder work for me? The p2p and length make that my only size.
