Just received mine My first CPO but probably not my last.
I don't know why I was awaiting something lighter and softer, this is IH man !!

Joke aside, this is sturdy indeed, but I've the impression it will soften up nicely with wear and wash.
My hand were already a little blue from the trying on.

Just the perfect weight to do the "shaket" style imo when you go out at night and you need something to put over a T or a shirt, and you don"t want to wear a cardigan or a pull-over.

The fabric is really original (But I never had sashiko).

Wouldn't have minded a cm or 2 more in the sleeves; it's perfect now so I hope it doesn't shrink.

I normally look "good" with a waist around 51 and an opening of 53. This is a large pretty muchas the charts, and I don't think it looks too big honestly. Might have to do with the sturdiness, but I think it drapes nicely

Some pictures for those on the fence about the fit. The picture with the shirt closed is over a T, but I could wear it with a light wool pull over the T-shirt.
I'm 180cm and 78kg at the moment.

I'm pretty surprised that these didn't sell out instantly. This became my favorite shirt I own the second I put it on for the first time. Here's a picture for anyone wondering what it looks like with the copper snap upgrades.

@cyclops I'd say the length of the sleeves are pretty on par with the rest of the IH shirts I have. Slightly long lol

But man, echoing others the copper snaps make this such an awesome piece. Keen to see how it fades too!

Got the first one they put out at Berkeley Supply. Couldn't resist the fabric when I saw it, although it feels like it could shrink with the wrong laundry approach. Fit is in line with the other UFH/CPOs in the lineup out of the box, though

Do the copper fasteners go all the way up to the neck? From the "normal" picture, I thought the shirt had a "normal" button closure at the top button.

I'm really thinking about getting one of these. I just picked up the Dobby short-sleeved mechanic shirt. Besides being a CPO and long-sleeved, is it pretty much similar to the short-sleeved mechanic shirt?

@johnfredmurray I think only this one is made with the new mexican cotton (first use of this fabric), not the short sleeves one

@dbj316 this was the one I wanted more than anything but the numbers didn’t seem to be right for me. The XXL seemed a tad too small and the arm length for the XXXL kept me from pulling the trigger too. I’m spewing as it looks awesome

@dbj316 Yeah this shirt should have come with copper snaps from the start; it really looks so much better. Question - was the male side of the snaps on the shirt you upgraded left silver?

I think it looks badass as it comes from IH, but it would be awesome if black metal snaps the size of the copper snaps became an option down the road…cough @Alex …cough @Giles
