Gardening, landscaping and plants in general

My lawn was burnt by the sun last year and had also been neglected by the previous owner quite a lot.
I leveled it with some sand last year and early this month I dehatched it, put on some top dressing (turf) and some new seeds.
A couple of days of rain afterwards as well as quite a lot sunshine during our 1 week vacation did the rest.
I‘ve been watering it daily since we came back last weekend.
It‘s not a golf course lawn but I‘m quite pleased with the result. At the end it‘s a playground for my twins.

@Giles Thanks a ton!

Ceiba speciosa (toborochi is the local name) is native and plentiful in my city. Hardy tree. Tolerates cramped sidewalks, car fumes, grows quickly and looks very pretty when in full bloom. -

Pruned and took out the dead wood on the maples earlier this year, beds cleaned up, and mulched. It’s Miller time. -
