@Chap Fischbrötchen is one of the very few things I miss since I stopped eating meat and fish

Nothing beats a good Fischbrötchen. A very good friend of mine used to be a vegetarian for like 16 years and ended it all with some Matjes at the Hafengeburtstag. Now more than 10 years later he still hasn’t recovered and eats meat and fish, and quite a lot actually. He still blames me for it.

Final day on the island, weather couldn’t get any better… although Sylt is usually super crowded around that time of the year we still can find those quiet places.
God has blessed you richly, so get down on your knees and thank him. Don’t forget the less fortunate or God will personally kick your ass. I’d love to do it for him, but I can’t be everywhere. Willie Nelson

@Chap I love the north sea but never really considered going to Sylt, thinking it being too crowded. But this looks really awesome and indeed quiet. Seems like I need to add Sylt to my list after all.

@endo yeah, that‘s what I‘ve heard too. Two years ago we went to Langeness for vacation, which was amazing btw. Many of the locals recommended Amrum as the more quiet and affordable alternative to Sylt.

After many years traveling to Sylt we became pretty good in avoiding them… (which is not quite easy at Pfingsten
but luckily they usually stick to a certain number of places) -

Absolutely, it‘s a great place. The rote Kliff, the Ellenbogen, the Braderuper Heide, really beautiful. Plenty of room to stay out of the assholes' way. And many opportunities to eat well.
pics of today were from List on the way up to Ellenbogen. We met three others walking there while there was stop-and-go and crowds drinking horrible and heavily overpriced champagne in Kampen -
