Photograph and Camera talk

@don_pipone I have one of the first Q2 and up to now it works perfectly without any problems. It is with 28 mm which seems not so good for portraits but in reality you can set the camera to 50 or 75 mm. The portraits of Lily from Teheran were shot with the Q2. The AF is (for a Leica) very fast and of course better with the Q3. If I did‘nt have the Q2, the Q3 would be my top choice. Its 43 mm focal length makes it great for portraits. Go for it!!
These two portraits from Teheran were also taken with the Q2.

@Marc2706 beautiful photos!
Thanks for sharing your experience. I was thinking about getting an used Q2 first but I rarely shoot that „wide“. The 43 would allow me to crop less if ever - at least in theory.
How much have you cropped these shots? Couldn‘t have told these were shot with 28mm at all.
Do you use a grip for the Q? Even though it feels quite compact and handy at first, it‘s still relatively heavy. Not sure if it will stay comfortable on a long day of shooting. -
@don_pipone the photos were cropped to 50 mm. I do not use the grip. I forgot to mention that the Q‘s are also great cameras for traveling. In comparison to M cameras, the Q is a light weight. Maybe you go to the Leica store in Munich and test it. They are very helpful with a great customer service.

@Marc2706 I will definitely do so. Thank you!

Oh ohhhhh @don_pipone

I’ll be the first to ask you for a photo walk. With swapped cameras. And a no return swap policy. -
@weftyarn haha! You wish
