Got mine delivered today along with the ROTOTO roll up hat. (Awesome btw)
Hemming was done perfectly and these are so cool!! I used to wear painters back in the day but not like this! Thanks @Shaun again for grabbing the perfect waist size. Thank you @JoshC for the phone chat and Iron Heart for making em! Chibs from 98 would be totally jealous RN!!

How does the stretch in the waist compare to 21oz jeans?

This fabric doesn't stretch much. It's not denim. I really recommend you don't rely on it. And be aware that it has a zipper, not buttons. The top button and the zipper not going all the way up mean the image "shown" won't be "accurate"
I recommend ordering your usual size -TTS- or even a size up. This is only my advice
