The funny thing is, I was present when they unpacked the delivery at Kentaurus and didn't like the color at all. It was my wife that made me try it on and told me, I would be stupid if I didn't buy it.

It took years to get from "What? You want to buy another one of those expensive shirts that all look alike?" to "If you don't buy that one you are an idiot.".

1955 14oz - fresh off their courtesy Self Edge hem!

These were originally 35.5”; now 34”. I wore them for 4 months with some heavy stacking before pulling the trigger on the hem. Washed lukewarm to get any shrinkage out beforehand, then dropped off at SELA.

Very happy with the inseam now and overall fit! I think the 1955s are just a fabulous lifter cut. Paired here with some Tecovas.
