@Sunnergren 193 I think! (6'4" in freedom units)
Makes sense why you don’t hem

I’m 5’11 and my true inseam is about 29-30”

As I said before. This is my first experience with IH and heavy selvedge denim. Almost looks fake these pics standing by themselves

First wear today, holy smokes they are stiff.
How would you guys say they fit?
For reference I’m 188, 90kg and this is tag 35.Thanks!

-
@Sunnergren Looks good, they should soften up after some good use.

-
@Sunnergren Look pretty sweet to me!
Has me a little worried cuz I got a 35 as well and let's just say I don't have quite the same physique ...

-
@dwils thank you kindly!
I will say that I have extra room in the waist, and also around the top block. Pressure for me right now are my hip-bones.
I think the extra room is to my benefit with 25 oz. Will probably wear a belt further down the road.
Everyone is different in all measurements and it is my understanding that they slowly forms to the body. I hope they will fit you well! -
@Sunnergren look great

Hi! These jeans looks awesome! I know they’ve just been restocked and I missed out. I’m wondering how many times they’re being restocked. Yearly or once every 2 years ore more often. Does anybody know? Thanks!

Hi @Arvid, We try to get restocks in as quickly as we can. We recently restocked the 888-XHSib, so I assume these won't be restocked again soon. I would say a good few months until these are back. Please keep an eye on this thread for any further updates and register for the restock notifications.

Ok. These are W35 and currently measure 35”. My ideal is a 36” zone. Currently a bit too tight in the waist but I like the fit otherwise. If they weren’t XHS I’d prob be Ok with them stretching into a good place.
But based on all the knowledge shared here my understanding is these are going to shrink to a 34” ish waist when soaked and then could stretch back out to the 35”. I think I really need the W36 which would shrink to the 35 and back out to 36. Is that the right way to think about this?
It does confirm I LOVE the denim and the weight and the cut

All input appreciated!

@tody thanks for input - it is very tempting. It doesn’t cut quite as much as it looks. Never had this weight before.
I know some people would wear em a bit and then soak but seems wise to give these 25ers a solid hot soak before I can really how they’re going to shape up, right?

@dwils from the product page:
Sanforized but Unwashed
- Sanforization is a post-weave mechanical process which removes most potential shrinkage from a fabric before garment construction
- However, unlike most of our jeans, we have not washed the completed garment in an industrial washing machine, so some shrinkage remains
- When washed following our care guidelines, expect approximately 1" shrinkage in the waist and inseam. All other dimensions will shrink proportionately to the waist
General recommendation is a soak and a gentle wash before wearing them.
-
Has anyone soaked once but find they did not get the shrinkage they are looking for, so then soaked for a round 2?
I think I can get a little more shrinkage in the waist - but they are now 90% dry and would have to go through the soak process again.
