Lovely fabric this one! Upgraded to the pearl snaps and love how they POP. Also interesting how the color almost appears a dusty brown in the right light, perhaps from the stitching thread color.

I found this explanation…

“What you’re seeing is normal patterning, not a defect. On Westerns and CPOs the pockets are placed relative to the armhole or side seam, not the center placket. That’s why the distance from each pocket to the armpit stitching is the same on both sides and consistent from shirt to shirt.

The center placket isn’t a true reference point due to the fold, layering, and snap spacing, so one pocket can appear farther from center. A vertical stripe down the middle just makes this more noticeable. In short, the pocket placement is consistent even if it doesn’t look perfectly centered.”

Did a cold soak which tightened it up a bit. Still a little long on me, I may just hot soak the bottom half but either way really like this version

@northsouthdenimguy Thanks, appreciate the follow up. I was also chatting to IH Germany in the meantime and got the same response. We'll see, maybe i'll I take this to my trusted tailor. It bothered me at first, but kinda got used to it and I wonder if trying to "fix" it would only make it worse

Picked this beauty up through ironheart uk
Fit is amazing ! Love the look of the stitching contrasting with the grey-black denim. Hope to fade it along with my 666 sbg's. Perfect shrit the way I see it , not nearly as heavy as the 292 but not light kinda the sweet spot.

First wash at ~50 wears. First fades at the arm creases visible, shirt looks maybe a little lighter but not a lot yet!! Let's how it will change after the next (hopefully) 50 wears.

I think i saw Sams faded one for these in the regular product release announcements on youtube and they age so well! Once my tonal version is more worn i'd love to try this one next!

@cyclops thanks man !! It's my main project wearing for redline rally this year. Trying to squeeze as much wear out of it before it gets too warm
