I’ve always wanted a small blade I can carry every day and this one fits the bill perfectly. It’s a Microblade from WESN based out of Detroit Michigan. This one is the blacked out model and at first look seems to be really well made. The natural leather sheath is a nice touch as well and should age and absorb indigo nicely. Glad to have something nice I can keep on hand for all the random stuff dads need a knife for.

Not happy... I've opened this thread 5 minutes ago and now I'm shopping for knives.

Over many years of using knives I settled on Spyderco in the main. My daily carry are the bottom four - UKPK and urbans, UK legal carry. I don't often use the middle line - often drawer queens but I rate them all as decent knives, lookers and users.
The top knife is my favourite work tool (I'm an outdoors practitioner, Ranger type) a Fjallkniven F1. Made for pilots but great for bushcraft. This is my spare one... Regular use knife is a bit battered.
Most of my Spydies I've given new scales as you can see
I have other knives but don't want to reach too far down that particular rabbit hole...

@AdamJ Haha yes I knew what you meant! I'm interested to see pics when it arrives

@Makarwise UK knife law is just crazy. On my list of "cons" for ever moving back to Blighty

-
@nurunuru Yep. Mostly just silly. The suits don't understand knives as the majority won't have any history of using them. Bans and legislation generally make it harder for tool users - a knife for crime just needs to be pulled out of any kitchen block.
