Watches - another OCD problem

Darn…
Actually, the funny thing is I really only wear one watch now. I will occasionally switch it up, but it has been months or maybe years since I switched it up on a daily or even every few day basis. I am getting to the point where I think I only need two watches: an everyday piece and the one I’ve always dreamed of.
Edit: I don’t know all their different model numbers, etc. but I’m sure like everybody else in the world I love this one or the modern one.

I’m about to make your shit list, but I think there are similarities… and as somebody that really likes Rolex, I don’t see it as a bad thing. So here we go it was nice “knowing”’you.

Rolex and Iron Heart are similar because neither tries to be the most artistic or niche. They focus on durability, consistency, and long-term reliability. There may be more interesting options at the same price, but very few brands execute “classic and overbuilt” as consistently. Safe done right becomes timeless.

@Giles I have to say, my five digit GMT Master is one of my faves. So fair point.

@northsouthdenimguy the 5 digit GMT is one of my faves. I'm not a big fan of acrylic bezels generally.

There may be some similarities, but there are sure as heck a lot of dissimilarities. Better to talk about them over a pint.
-
Not to belabor the point, but I will, and I would love to grab a pint one day.
I was not comparing how you all run the business. I was talking about the similarities in iconic status, classic designs, overengineering, and that consistent, no nonsense durability that defines both brands.

They make a LE version of this Radiomir in white gold, an absolute beast!!

I struggle with white gold watches. There’s a couple that I really like but it’s hard to justify for the most part.
Although my wife does have a beautiful WG date just. She loves larger watches. She wears this 36 and a 41. I’ve tried it on but strap is way too small I can’t even get the clasp closed.
