I’ve been really enjoying these 400DK. Pockets are useful.

@MSav32323 glad to see I have another brother who’s part of the UES trifecta! I tried to get their indigo polo shirt, but it’s sold out in size 6 , next time!

5 days in the Tricotine with different layering. Today’s gonna be quiet warm for end of February with nearly 20C and wanted to see how and if my whit tee is gonna be blue in the evening

-
Almost too hot for the tricotine here in Colorado with the weather we’re having in FEBRUARY right now

-
Did you get the size 5?
Disregard I think I see where you said yours is from a previous run. I’m more than likely have somebody that has one for me in the very near future. I’m just not sure how it’s gonna fit. I don’t think the chest is more than 24.75 which depend depending on the cut may or may not work.

Incoming photo dump and backstory alert!
I had a brand new Tricotine that I sold a few months ago. It had been sitting in my closet for over a year. Untouched and hidden. Acquired through the dark arts. I sold it because I thought the IHSH 293 was the CPO of my dreams. Turns out it was not as heavy as I imagined and I returned it. So there I was without a Tricotine or a new CPO. (Bought some 634 XHSib to sooth my soul instead)
All the time the Tricotine haunted me. I kicked myself for letting it go. Then as the new releases came I battled with getting one. The wife would not be happy nor would my bank account. So release after release I had fits and spasms over getting one and then deep fomo as each run sold out. Like, literal loss of sleep. I am indeed a neurodivergent, borderline psychotic.
One popped up on the forum and I again spazzed out. This time I caved. I gotta say, so glad I did. When I opened that package from @gidf96 I was truly elated. This shirt feels, somehow, even more amazing than the one I just sold. (All in my head I’m sure, but somehow made my mental war feel justified). So, in the end, I’m very stoked to have this shirt back in my closet where it belongs. And, possibly the best part…no dark arts this time. The wife knows about the Tricotine, so this time I actually get to wear it!!!Gave it a cold soak and a cold wash. Hung dry.
Shoulder, chest and sleeve didn’t move. Length came up a .5”.I really like that it’s a bit on the larger side of a size 3. Works perfectly as a true over shirt.
First wear day so still rather stiff and boxy. Shoulders have some pointy spots from the hanger during drying.
I predict some insane stacking on these sleeves.

@Mizmazzle great backstory, so happy for you that you ended up with such a great shirt in the end!! Fits you very well and I'm sure it's going to mold and fit you even better with some wear and washes.
-
@Mizmazzle this whole roller coaster, especially the end result, makes me really happy. Can’t wait to see the journey you take it on.
-
@Mizmazzle So we both ended up succumbing to Tricotine! I think your last one had smaller measurements so this time you have more of a shacket vibe. Wear in good health!

-
@Mizmazzle This was the right move! Looks amazing!
-
@Mizmazzle congrats! Looks great! Separately, is that the 634 ib? Looks neat and slimmer than i thought
-
@cyclops yup. 634 XHSib. They are definitely not wide. I used to think the leg opening felt like bell bottoms on an early pair of 634s I had. I was just so used to narrower legs. My tastes and style have evolved though. 634 now feels perfect when I want something with a more open leg. When I want a cleaner leg I go with my 888s.
-
@Mizmazzle glad you returned to the Tricotine Temple. They get really comfy, in my opinion — such a nice heft, but no suffering involved. It is the way.
-
@popvulture Heft indeed! It's almost like a weighted blanket.
-
@popvulture def not like trying to break a lefty.
-
@Mizmazzle haha yeah man, mine's still like a paper mache shell.
-
@popvulture Ha! mine is like damp paper mache. Not sure it will ever be what can be called “soft.” But if you’re going into a rough dive bar and fear the potential of being stabbed by a ruffian…the lefty is the jacket to wear.
