Watches - another OCD problem

Oh well, their straps do not fit the Santos 100 XL.
These canvas straps would be pretty cool and decent prices. If anybody has recommendations or something similar by another company or small maker let me know
Edit: like this trench color the best

@StarsSuck love the watchmakers 4 on the Santos

Might as well post mine. I’ve posted it before with a really weird perspective where it looked like it was gigantic lol

Missed the posting party yesterday...but here's mine on the (insanely overpriced) OEM green strap. My usual summer setup for this watch.

Looks nice with a green strap

@Giles amazing watch and a beautiful gift

@northsouthdenimguy ZicZac makes custom straps for the Santos XL. Source: I own one.

@Brodie the Santos party never ends!

Really?!?!? I’ve thought about trading this one….. not because I don’t love it. I do….. I’m indecisive.
-
@Anesthetist I just figured it out why I’m so indecisive on it….. it’s kind of “dainty”. I think that’s why the newer / bigger models cost an extra 10k …. They have a big more weight/size
If you’re cool with dainty…. You would love this watch.

Very nice.

My MM300. Love how chunky it is.

Nice @1WayTrip - it's my grail watch. Looks great on both the rubber strap and the bracelet.

Watch story time. Not sure if this belongs here, so feel free to move or delete it. I just find it funny.
I have always liked Panerai. I know a lot of people dislike them because they are big or because of the celebrity association with guys like Sylvester Stallone, but I love the simplicity of the design, especially the California. I also think my wrists are big enough to pull one off.
There is one specific watch I have been seeing for years. The first time I seriously looked at it was about ten years ago. In 2015 I made an offer of $5,500 which was immediately declined. I made a couple more offers up to around $5,600. At the time it was listed somewhere under $7,000, around $6,900 if I remember right.
I saw it again last night and clicked on it, but I am no longer allowed to make an offer because I have made too many in the past. What I find funny is that more than ten years later they still have not sold it. Just imagine what they could have done with that $5,600 over the years buying and flipping other watches. Who knows what they paid for it, maybe they overpaid back then, but it still seems silly to me.
The ironic part is that about seven years ago I moved to the same city where the shop is located. I could walk in and see it in person, but at this point I do not even really want it anymore. To me it is not worth more than $4,500 at best.
