@Chibs
I put it in the washing machine on handwash program with 30 degrees.
just took some pictures
now that’s what I call blue water
. There is only one shirt that bleeds as much as the Tricotine and that’s the Kersey

-
Wow!
-
@Daniel-San Wow... I just soaked for 40 mins, no agitation. Maybe should have done more... Anyway, its dry now ready for wear tomorrow so thats that.
-
@Daniel-San does....the shirt look visibily less indigo?
-
@cyclops
it’s still wet, so I don’t know but I don’t think so . we’ll see tomorrow -

Sorry last photo has my Oni jacket over the tricotine.
-
@stitchdown.shell looks so good… mine got delivered today from a Japanese third party service, stoked. Did you give it a soak and rinse?
-
@MSav32323 Thanks! I bought mine in the last restock. It was definitely crunchy and the collar was very stiff. I just wore and it softened up. Never soaked it and have not washed it since new. Prob about 20-25 wears on it.
-
@stitchdown.shell oh nice ok, that helps know what to expect! Is the indigo bleed a nightmare? Just wearing it with dark undershirts? I’m slightly terrified haha

Just doing up the buttons is a PITA... Beast
-
When I had mine two or three years ago I washed it once cold with minimal agitation and it shrank mostly in length and not really in chest and shoulder width. Not really a boxy fit but definetely more workshirt vibes than new.
-
For science I’ve decided not to warm soak and wear a white t-shirt underneath today.

We’ll see what happens.
-
@MSav32323 it easily transfers so watch out for white walls and couches.

-
@Chibs how did your science experiment go? Did you successfully dye your white tee to indigo???
