BS-10 - GOOD ART HLYWD Model 10 Bracelet

@Oaktavia oh this is new new for you! Congrats! Self Edge is well stocked on these right now. May just have to pull the trigger

-
@kojimastreets it's a beautiful thing man, highly recommend. What size are you looking at?
-
@Oaktavia Model 10 B is the one for me. Copped. Might as well go big!

-
I am looking for 4A sizing. I am with 19cm wrist but looking at the snug fit.
Should I aim for 17.5cm size in that case? May be I read somewhere in here that says about 2cm reduction if required snug fit??
-
@oblivion.sila Everyone has different preferences. The recommended fit from GAH is pretty loose in my experience.
For example my wrist is just a bit over 16cm where I normally wear a watch, but 17cm "down low and snug" as the recommended measuring on their sizing charts. So I have always gone with 17cm. This results in a loose bracelet with a lot of slack. I have a few photos for you to see the recommended GAH fit.
So you could definitely size down one size and be fine, but after that it could get a bit tricky.

I have a 2A that is on the medium snug side. My wrist is 7.25" (18.4cm) and my bracelet is 8" (20.3cm), so it is ~1.9cm larger than my wrist. It is loose enough to slide up and down my wrist but a bit more snug than the recommended.
Does anyone know the recommended wrist measurement to bracelet length ratio that GAH recommends? I read online that a bracelet 1.3 cm - 2.5cm larger than a wrist is recommenced via Google search for a curb chain bracelet.

I don't think there's a standard rule of length since the thickness of the links changes how much length is needed to fit the same. It may just be length, but it's also a circumference, so it reduces the length on your wrist by half the link thickness.
Also pretty sure I saw a post from jw where he talked about this

For the Model 10 B I was between sizes and went down a size. It worked great, still big enough to easily fit one fingers between the wrist and bracelet. I think at least with the model 10 you an size down if you're between sizes.

Thanks everyone for chipping in.
I always feel entitled with IH customer service as given and the team's dedication for serve. The community around it is another level. Will give a deep thought which way to go forward. Love you all

Just wanted to drop a quick one to say a massive thank you to the Iron Heart Gosport legends for letting me crash the party during a busy hour today.
It was killer catching up with the whole crew: Vik, James, Freeman, Josh, and Ben. Sorry if I missed anyone in the mix!
Special shout-out to @Bailey —man, thank you for sharing a piece of your own pop lock to help get mine sorted. I know I was acting like a total kid in a candy store, but honestly, every time I visit the workshop it just feels like a "nudge of home."Finally walked out with the Model 10 4A. Went for the 24-link snug fit for office wear and it is a pure masterpiece. The engineering is insane.
@Kasi — Mission accomplished! Thanks for all the tips and help tracking this one down.
Time to get some miles on this silver!

Okay, for some reason I've read the whole 28 pages of this thread and I'm not even a jewellery person.

@RobeOfTheMagi Not yet

Does anyone here own a Model 10 Bracelet - A with 14 links? I wonder if it might fit a 17cm wrist.
-
@RobeOfTheMagi I have 17mm wrist with 15 link and it is very loose, 14 links should be a comfortable/loose fit. GAH sizing is for a very loose fit. For example, if you look at the IH sizing guide, they recommended 14 link with 17mm wrist.

@paris75009 thank you so much! That’s exactly the kind of information I need!
-
Anyone here lucky/crazy enough to have the regular AND goosebumps versions? Curious how different the two wear

I find the Self Edge chart very helpful. They show the actual end to end measurement of each size. If you have a tailors tape measure (which you should if you’re into denim), hold the tape around your wrist at the lengths on this chart to get a feel for how lose you like it to be.

I have an AAAA and B. Both bought to the GAH sizing spec based on my wrist size. Both too big. Here is the AAAA which is the tighter of the two. The B is so big I almost can’t wear it.
