Pasting everything here certainly makes it feel excessive...

For anyone who checks this post, I'm curious if/how you catalog what you have. I've started jotting down fabric types and weights and slowly moving on to dye method so I can see how that helps things fade or not. This certainly helps enhance my enjoyment of the garments and I really appreciate the IHUK team for keeping an archive of all these details.

Geekery to the max but I use an app called WearTracker where you can catalog each item and monitor daily wears etc.. bit easier than constantly changing notes on your phone and satisfies my ocd riddled brain

@Denimhead-0 it sure is, I only used it for jeans at first to monitor how long I was going between washes but ocd took over and I have practically everything listed on it now

It looks like WearTracker is exclusive to Apple (bummer for me). I am still manually updating a note on my phone to keep track of purchase details, wear count, and measurements (if I'm not too lazy).

@ZackB if it’s done one thing for me it’s made me wear my stuff more as I gun for pence per wear on every item

WearTracker looks cool and should be great to inventory what I've purchased (most of it over the last couple of years). That said, trying to determine what counts as a "wear" would prove difficult and probably not worth my time. ... today I put on pants to grab the mail and a nice shirt for a Zoom meeting ... then back into sweats

edit: shit there are ads ... first one for a freaking Polymarket app

@DeeDee85 Just downloaded WearTracker - good find, though I don't look forward to manually porting my beautiful spreadsheet into the app .

The cost per wear metric will be an interesting one to watch. Also, tracking how often I wear a garment is probably a better indication of its age as opposed to which release it came from. OCD riddled brains unite.

@DeeDee85 you really put me on dude, thanks a bunch! Kind of annoying how we’d have to go one by one to log each individual day for an item I’ve been wearing the last few months. I just logged the same day quickly until I reached my current count lol. This app is pretty cool to have for sure though!
