@CosmoSix5 I have a recent pair of the raw 501 shrink-to-fits, and I'd say they fit a lot like the 634. Even after shrinking the heck out of 'em with a hot wash and tumble dry, they're definitely a lot roomier in the thighs than the 666. Like, the 666 cut would not even be an option for me.

@CosmoSix5 I own two pairs of Levis 501 LVC (1937 and 1947) and both are significantly wider than any pair of 666s I own. Even my few 634s seem to be more of a relaxed fit. However, no, I wouldn't equate 501s with 666s, but as Nurunuru said, they're more like 634s at best.

@CosmoSix5..its difficult to describe the 666 in reference to the 777's that you are wearing but think of a 777 with a slightly higher rise just as slim or maybe a little slimmer at the thigh and a little not by much roomier at the knee with a slightly wider hem. Is by no means a lose fitting cut. In my opinion it has the slimmer top block than the other cuts. I think for someone tall as you it will be a flattering cut and I will size it similar to your 777's

@CosmoSix5
Technically the 1955 is IH's version of the 1955 Levis 501. I have the 1955S and they are indeed pretty close to every 501 I've tried. The 666 should be lower and slimmer in the thigh, but I will admit that the 666 is the one cut I've yet to try on, so grain of salt and all that.I've always had a hunch that the 666 might really be my cut, but haven't had the opportunity to try them on. So far I've tried on every cut in person before I've purchased.

These comments are super helpful. Especially @yannis . Is there a pair of Levi's or any other accessible brand I could try on this weekend? Thanks for this assistance everyone!

@CosmoSix5 I have both the 666 and 777. That's always the answer.
