IH-461 - Non Selvedge 21oz Indigo Boot Cut Jean

We used to stock them but people who apparently can't read would buy them and then return them because they were not selvedge. The denim also does not have as much character as the selvedge 21oz. The 461 is also a tricky cut to get to fit right, which increased the number of returns.

Does anyone know if the resin treatment that the 461Z receives will be affected in anyway if you iron them? I found a used pair and may want to iron them inside out for a fresh start if it wouldn't have any negative effects. Or is ironing not a good idea, regardless of resin treatment? @Alex @Giles

before i buy all the second hand 461 on this forum and around the world,
is there a chance to see 461/463 or another bootcut coming back one day?

@Pinkpan It’s been discussed a few time recently and the collective thought is no. Never say never, but if you can find them on the secondhand market, purchase them now.

They will not be coming back anytime soon.
