-
Just sent you a message @denim-dawg would love to get on the list if there’s room!
-
@sabergirl I like to sleep on the offenders doorsteps.
-
@worn2fade yep, this is the case for me too

Dear wabbies!
Happy new year!! The Wabash is in motion!!! I’ve shipped off the dear creature off to its first new wearer, following @neph doing a new forum member; Helge. A stand up jeans head who makes the most impeccable boots.
As there are almost 30 people wanting to do this tour, I’ve decided to do it in parts. So it’ll stay alive. And Wabby. First leg is Europe:
Helge January
Garry in February
Chap from there to Japan
Endo May
Larkens Juni
Mr Brue Juli August
Giles/Chap September to BaltimoreThen it’s off to the USofA, and we will update who and which order. How does this sound?
Cheers And have a lovely weekend

Doing a test run, before June. Got lucky and scored one of these in my size from a forum member. Don’t know how much I’ll be wearing this so maybe I can keep it rather new. Would be great to compare it to the tour version

Dear forum dwellers,
Not that long ago my friend @denim-dawg asked if I was interested in joining the world tour of an Iron Heart item. My initial response was
– Eh?
Knowing the Dawg and his wacky ideas, I said sure. I have never owned an Iron Heart product, but during the years Dundas Footwear exhibited at The Selvedge Run fair in Berlin we got to take a close look at their products. Since then I have always lusted for their stuff. So it was with some anticipation I opened the box: besides a beautifully patinated shirt there was a can of beer, olive oil and a picture of Per Andersen Bær. I´ll get back to him later.

-
The picture of Per Andersen Bær was taken in Kautokeino in 1883, and as you can see he is a proud representative of the Samí people. You might also wonder if he is related to Christian Bale...
Anyway: As I have turned 50, the XL turned out to be somewhat lacking in eh, width. My once broad shoulders have dropped a bit, so I figure I´d need an XXL to aviod looking like a stuffed sausage. Instead of using it, I will let it have a little tour at the Dundas Footwear headquarters in Haugesund before sending it to Germany. A bit sad, as it is a beautiful piece in every way. Materials, stitching, detailing is all top notch.
I had to mate it with my grandfathers jacket that he used during WW2 when he was with the Norwegian restistance:
And an american bomber suit I am restoring for a customer who drives a Morgan three wheeler:
