Anyone sick of this old mug, yet? Last one for awhile.

New sweats are MONEY! Went size medium. AJ was right. They are very forgiving tag size wise. Could have gone large, but medium is on point too. Plenty of stretch in this fabric. And oh so comfy!

In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

Incoming in XL for me.. I was worried about the length with the L...
Looking forward, although I am not convinced about the need for a cuff and feel they can look awkward.

I love mine too—but even the XXL is pretty tight in the thigh. They stretch out enough to be very comfy, but they’ll never be baggy sweats for me. Maybe someday these will be made for bigger, taller people. Or, conversely pserhaps I will shrink?

Got my sweats in! These are super sweet. I’m actually kinda surprised the L wasn’t too big. The waistband is a little odd though. Like the fabric is loose around the inner elastic, which seems too narrow for the thick waistband it’s contained in. Seems like the 3” band could have been narrowed a little to match.

Missed out on these as I wasn’t at home over Christmas and didn’t want them to arrive at an empty house. If a pair in size S suddenly appear in stock…

@ShopatIronHeart Is there a list of retailers that have these? I see a few people mentioning they got them elsewhere, but can't find a retailer list

Sadly missed out on a restock notification today on IHUK 😞

Been wearing these pretty much nonstop since they arrived. The cut is perfect. I’m falling more and more in love with this thick heavy fabric, yet I’m becoming increasingly disappointed in the waistband. I just don’t understand the half-width elastic. The heft of the fabric depends on a hefty waistband and this is not as hardy as the rest of the garment. I have a pair of Champion sweats with the same style waistband, and on those, the elastic is the full height of the outer cloth wrap and stitched stretched under tension to the legs. Maybe this should be moved to the “what can we improve” thread, but I mean for this to be constructive: imo, the elastic should be the full width, and be better secured to the pants. Here you can see where the waist is creasing in half at the edge of the elastic as it floats inside the oversized waistband.

I’m tempted to take them to a tailor, cut the inner layer just above the seam, replace the elastic with a wider band and stitch it back down over itself, slightly reducing the width of the band while making it more sturdy. Or…. I’ll be cheap and lazy and just keep wearing them as is lol

Well, I will say, I have two pairs of the IHSW-35? (think that’s the number) and they’ve lost a bit of elasticity over the years, but for the most part still work fine.

I think this is one of those times that Haraki San stuck with heritage details that would be better updated. The drawstring does the lifting here

Had these a month or so... Fast became daily drivers. I wasn't super excited when they arrived but ripped the tag be mistake as I pulled them on so had to keep & very glad I did.

                                      • The fit is nice - starts v. slim but the fabric has give so winds up fitting very well
                                      • On the fabric - initially didn't seem exciting but its great, good weight - not Wonderlooper heavy or anything but very nice
                                      • There are plenty of nice details - like the pocket slits for example and the crotch triangle bits.

Would like to see them in more colours.
