@Giles The time between Christmas and New Year is just a void for me, so respect for going to the gym... I imagine the gym will be busy in January with people like myself signing up!

January will a nightmare in the gym, but it will settle down as the season progresses......

My main motivation was originally to sort out my lack of left glute and weak left leg after my hip replacement, but it's sort of become a thing and I go most days when I am at home.....

@Larkens we only arrived on thursday evening, and the last two days were pretty cold. it's brightened up quite a bit today, so let's see if i manage the nieuwjaarsduik!

@deadendpro I bought that hat as well. Beautifully made but doesnt fit me all that well. I might steam it to help it mould better to my odd shaped melon!

Today we took our daughter and nieces to the Gateway Arch

(Sorry not many pics inside, they mostly are of the kids.) Def not for anyone afraid of heights or claustrophobic. The top also noticeably sways in the wind which is unsettling

Also stopped for a moment in the Old Cathedral downtown. The land was parceled out in the 1700’s and was finished in 1834
