It's soo crunchy and stiff. Not like denim at all really, which is all I have to compare it to. Dyed canvas is a whole other thang for sure. It holds it shape super easily.

@WhiskeySandwich yeah I agree. These are incredible. Like a perfect balance of contrast and vintage with deep hues layered with smooth faded high whites.
If 21oz IB ever makes a comeback I’d be all over that!

My 666S-21 needed another wash as denim smelling of (roast) duck was just too confusing. I’m a self-confessed slow fader so these are not spectacular but they might give others hope that good things will come with time.

@ZackB thanks. I don’t think the cuffs are critical yet. There’s a potential crotch issue that might need attention first – I’ll probably take advice from Josh as to whether to send them in now or wait till the next wash.

@ARNC what I like about your pair, and every other pair for that matter, is that they represent you. Fading is not a competition (to me at least). Every pair is unique and that makes it special. My pair of 666-21 look different from yours, and someone else's look different again.

@Tago-Mago that’s definitely true. Some fades reflect habits and others specific events. The mark on the right knee is from when I went arse over tit on a slippery slate pathway.

@indigostiff I don’t track wears/washes so no definite answer. I also rotate bottoms according to my mood and I don’t get to wear IH stuff at work so it’s hard to work backwards. I’ve had them for a few years and they’ve been washed as needed without any particular schedule.
