Second day wearing my 633S-SBG on a trip to the east coast visiting a buddy. I went with the larger (38) of the 2 sizes that fit me because the rise/hips felt like they were going to give me some trouble sitting in them for a 5 hr plane flight in the smaller size. I like the 38’s leg better for sure, but damn, 2 weeks in and yall are right about the SBG stretching a bit. I’m happy with my choice, but may go with a more snug size next time around picking up some SBG…

*didn’t see a 633S-SBG thread, sorry if I was lazy and there is one

@sophisto000 The 633 is a Self Edge exclusive cut and there are no SBG related threads. This will work.

I finally pulled the trigger on the 633 cut in SBG

Self edge has sizing that doesn’t seem right compared to IH site, and even the 633 cut in SBG seems different than the other 633 fabrics so last year I went with the 555 instead size 36 instead.
The 555 was great, I love them, but for an even better fit I could use a little more room in the thigh to make stair climbing easier.

I was skeptical of the sizing in the site, how could a tag 38 only measure 35” waist.
I rolled the dice and it worked out, they fit great, the waist works for now and should stretch out a bit to be perfect, thighs have more room to move, hem is still under 9” which I like.

Anyways here’s my confirmed measurements in case anyone else is wondering how they measure up.

                Front 12 / 12
                Rear 16 / 16.5
                Knee 9.7 / 9.75
                Leg 8.5 / 8.75

SE’s methodology for measuring these dimensions differs from IHUK. Look into those deets. The SBG and latest collab has higher rise compared to older 633 models…more akin to 888 now. better fit imho. good luck. i just got these in SBG too….excited to fade some black into grey!

Hi guys, did I miss something on why is IH-633s the only jeans model with asymmetrical wave stitching on the back pockets? It makes zero sense, it looks like a mistake. Can someone explain please? Thank you

I’m pretty sure all self edge iron heart collabs have these arcs. They used to have one half arc back in the day, but they changed it.

The’ve had several iterations over the years. Such as, as @sabergirl says, the half arcuates. They seem to be using the standard (but tonal) pattern now. @Bane011 - the 633, the 301, and older SExIH cuts are exclusives and collaborations. Seemingly Kiya has worked in some design details over the years. I’m a fan of the gen 2 pattern.

@Boit @sabergirl Thank you guys, Im excited to get my first 633s, I have a feeling that they might be maybe my favorite cut. I have 666, 634, and 888, and 888 is my favorite, but I love the 634 top block. Maybe my ocd is messing with me when I see the stitch wave on the back pockets of 633s thay are going in the same direction and not looking like a symmetrical mirror image. But I’ll live with it, no worries.

I’ve been extremely happy with my 633 SBG that I just got, they are the best fitting iron heart I’ve had. The 777 is nice when standing but as soon as I crouch I start to feel a breeze.
The 555s used to be my favorite but the extra thigh room of the 633 has been nice.
I get the feeling like the more snug 555 will develope better fades/whiskers but the 633 is more like wearing comfy sweatpants.

My next pair will be a 633 in the 21, 23 or 25oz

@sabergirl I’m ok with a different design, it’s just the direction of the both pocket lines is graphically, design wise, it’s different, but ok, because it’s a collaboration, so it’s special in a way.
