Also, to throw in another youtube recommendation, specifically for stretching/stretches, is livingleggings. Personally, I appreciate how she approaches everything and presents it with many options to help those that arent built like her.

Seconded. I prefer front loader and have used one for 15 years.

My wife is insisting on a top loader due to the smaller space of our laundry room. Leaving the door open all the time on a front loader to dry it out when not in use is something she says is a must to prevent mold, and that would cramp the space even more. I've learned when she has her mind set on a detail like this it's best to let her have it how she prefers.

We have an old top loader that was in the house when we bought it that has been just fine for my jeans. Wouldn’t worry about it too much

@sabergirl does it have an agitator? Our current top loader came with out house too...but it has no agitator. It also does a horrible job and leaves soapy residue on our clothes.

I kinda dislike front loaders just because of how little water they use for cleaning really heavy items like IH jeans or UHFs. There have been a couple of times my jeans have come out with visible dirt dried on the outside of them if I didnt aggressively pre-soak and rinse before putting them in the washer.

I think they make top loaders with a minimal agitator these days?

@Mizmazzle our home came with a front loader and was mold ridden. We replaced all of the gasketing and did a deep clean. Now we make sure to leave the door cracked + wipe down the gasket after each use. It will usually dry out within a day or two and stayed cracked. May not be ideal but it does beat having the door wide open all the time. We also have a small laundry cove.

@northsouthdenimguy seconding this. I had my knee ripped apart in a jiu jitsu match and knees over toes helped tremendously.

He has a back ability zero book that I use also. I did the online coaching thing for a month and wasn’t worth it to me. There are plenty of videos online of how to do the exercises.

@Mizmazzle we have an old school “Speed Queen” top loader with an agitator. It’s built like a tank and made to last. Delicate setting has been fine for my denim. I recommend them because they can be repaired. The newer stuff feels to me like they’re made with “planned obsolescence” in mind. Just my 2¢
