I am really tempted by this release and curious if someone could help with a question?
I have a whipcord A2 (non-oiled) and would like to hear from someone with both a A2 and N1 as to how much warmer the N1 is in comparison.My A2 is a Xl and fits great in the shoulders, while being a little boxy and wide throughout. I could probably fit into a Large quite easily, but don’t mind a little extra room. I have the lightweight deck jacket in Large and it would be perfect if I had just a little extra room in the shoulders. It is fine with just a light layer or sweater….but I would still love an extra inch in shoulder.
Based off the lightweight N1 in Large I am thinking I should go with a XL in the N1? The 19” shoulder measurement scares me a little as it is the same as the lightweight N1. I’m 6’ 175 with broader shoulders.

@Blackgrass I've currently got the Oiled A2 and used to have an un-oiled N1 before that and basically I made that swap because the N1 was too warm for general use for me - don't get me wrong the A2 is still plenty warm, but the N1 is definitely warmer!
Based on what you've said i'd say the XL in N1 is probably the way to go, A2s are generally a little boxier in the waist and opening but otherwise fit similarly to N1s size wise

That went so fast. Literally in my cart checking out and clicked buy and it was sold out. Still able to get one elsewhere but that was faster than I anticipated!

That was so fast, I think there were only 6 oiled N1s in large in whole Germany. Is it actually public how many pieces were available worldwide?

Wow they were sold out faster than me getting out of the office on a Friday afternoon
Was able to catch an XL from another shop. Fingers crossed that sizing works out.

re: the sleeves, they state "quilted and satin lined", but are they also insulated? If so, Primaloft or other? Just curious since it doesn't say

@jordanscollected It is a padded polyester layer stitched into the quilt lining for insulation. It is not Primaloft
